Asia Security Settlements CTB Team covers both regional and global projects that have impact to Asia Security Settlements.
The primary goal of our team is to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
By partnering with Technology department, we work closely with various stakeholders to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule.
* Develop project scopes and objectives by understanding and documenting the requirements for the change
* Identify high level target costs and benefits
* Develop project plan and implementation strategy by coordinating with Tech department
* Track the progress of the plan, report and escalate the status and issues to the management
* Set test strategy with specific approach details
* Ensure smooth execution of the project by providing pre/post turnover implementation support
* Engage stakeholders who need to be involved in the project
* Work and contribute as a catalyst between the Settlement team and Technology department
* Project management skills
* Self-motivated with positive working attitude
* Lead the team by example working with drive and determination
* Specialist in functional knowledge and able to deal with multiple tasks under pressure
* Ability to understand impact of any market changes and communicate to stakeholders effectively
* Good communication skills, able to interact and communicate effectively across cultural and hierarchical lines within the Firm
* Ability to identify problems as they arise and understand when they need to be escalated
* Ability to set out / apply up to date knowledge and best practices to develop solutions that add value to the firm and our internal clients
* Adaptable and flexible to changes and new challenges
* Keen to learn new skill sets and does so quickly
* Analytical skills, able to digest the requirements, spot the root cause of the issue and suggest a solution in a constructive manner
* Specialist in market knowledge - Equity or Fixed Income products and settlement market rules
* Understanding of financial markets/Exchanges
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)
* Presentation skills
